The Association for the Rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir (ARJK) has been established to:

a) Work for the achievement of the right to self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council,UNCIP Resolutions and spirit of United Nations charter.

b)Secure full constitutional rights for the people of the liberated territory of the state of Jammu and Kashmir comprising Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, pending the exercise of their right to self-determination under UN auspices through a fair and impartial plebiscite.

It is our hope that people all over the world who wish to contribute to international peace, tranquility in the region and the attainment of the legitimate rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir will join hands with the ARJK to achieve the aims and objects of the Association.
